Furnished rentals: what are the advantages for the tenant and the owner?

In recent years, furnished rentals have become a new trend easily adopted by many travelers. Seasonal rentals, as many like to say, represent a new type of legalized rental that benefits both landlord and tenant.

For the owner

Furnished rentals allow any home owner to offer an all-in-one rental service at regular intervals. The law currently requires that seasonal accommodation be rented out for 120 days per year. An opportunity for the owner to build up additional income during his vacation abroad, for example. Indeed, furnished accommodation can be offered for unlimited seasonal rental. The owner can thus offer his accommodation for rent only during his absence.

Renting furnished tourist accommodation also makes it possible to serve travelers who wish to find low-cost accommodation in a tourist area. The opportunity for guests to get to know each other and forge links with travelers from around the world. This is the case, for example, of an owner who only partially rents his property. Another way to share your daily life with passing foreigners.

For the tenant

By definition, a rental is said to be furnished when it is sufficiently furnished with furniture. This means that furnished accommodation includes a minimum of furniture that the tenant can enjoy upon arrival. A great advantage for the traveler who will no longer have to worry about finding essential equipment once there. Much like in a hotel, it will benefit from complete bedding, a blanket, an oven, a hob, a refrigerator, crockery, kitchen utensils, seats, a table, etc. Some tenants will even have the option / chance to take advantage of additional services like WiFi, TV, garbage collection service, etc. It is therefore a very profitable alternative to the hotel which benefits from a service similar in all points (almost) without breaking the bank.
