What motivated us to undertake vacation rental management is based on several elements. First, we like the idea of creating a welcoming environment where travelers can feel at home. Why did you choose the Lille area to set up your business?
We had chosen 3 cities, firstly Villeneuve d'Ascq because it hosts universities, major schools and many research laboratories are located there. Villeneuve d'Ascq is a large city on the move and then it is part of the Lille metropolis, metro and bus line, also has a football stadium which hosts not only the Losc team but also many concerts or others. The second city is La Madeleine located near Lille is a town with a fairly young population because many young university students in Lille live there, served by a tram line and also buses, easy to access and get around. Finally Lambersart, bordering Lille, is a very quiet town with many parks, very well served with many metro stations as well as buses and even electric scooter or bicycle terminals
What places would you recommend to a traveler wishing to explore this city?
Travelers would be advised to discover Lille because it is less than 5 minutes by car from each city, in Lille there are a lot of things to discover such as the Old Lille district which is a rather chic district with very pretty pedestrian streets and of course bars, shops etc ... the Lille opera is something to see at least once in your life, The Grand'Place of Lille is located and constitutes the heart of the city. This is where the huge Ferris wheel is installed during the Christmas period. The rest of the year, it is a meeting place, at the foot of the statue of the Goddess. Rue de Béthune where you will find all the major chain stores. The free fall simulator is the unique opportunity to feel the adrenaline and the sensations of a parachute jump at 4000 m, all without having to jump out of a plane. and of course in Lille there are iconic streets to spend your best evenings, notably the rue Royales or the rue Massenna, very well known for their numerous bars and nightclubs.
