To begin, could you introduce yourself in a few words?

Hello, my name is Christian. I am YourHostHelper agency manager in Clermont-Ferrand. Holder of a master's degree in international trade, I worked for 12 years for large agri-food groups in the retail sector. I was able to develop a strong ability to adapt, a culture of results and a real taste for challenge.

What motivated you to get involved in the management of vacation rentals?

Alongside my salaried activity, I trained and invested in several properties in Clermont-Ferrand. This allowed me to understand the expectations, constraints and requirements of owners and travelers. In addition, my region is attractive from a tourist and economic point of view. So I saw a real opportunity to start my business in the

I have lived in Clermont-Ferrand or its surroundings for more than thirty years. My choice was therefore natural and a choice of the heart. Indeed, I love strolling in the streets of the historic center of Clermont-Ferrand and also being able to go for a walk or run in the nearby mountains. Located in the center of France, the city is not lacking in assets and has great potential
touristic.

What places would you recommend to a traveler wishing to explore this city?

The main advantage is to be able to satisfy and respond to the needs of travelers and owners. Another advantage is to be able to exchange and share my expertise but also to advise and share my tips.

What are the essential qualities in your profession?

The management of seasonal rentals requires organization, rigor, dynamism and a strong ability to adapt. Providing quality service to customers is very motivating! The tourist sector of the region is such that the activity seems to me ideal to develop.

Can you describe for us the daily life in your job?

On a daily basis, I manage the activity of the concierge like a real business manager. Organization of passenger schedules, households, aided by software but also management of entries, exits, small repairs, stocks, laundry, etc. There is a commercial part. I have to develop my activity and answer questions and requests from owners, make appointments, visit properties, take care of putting them online
and also ad tracking.
